How did TWCs British members vote? Secret poll of course
There were no local elections up here, nor in Scotland I don't think.

I have the unenviable choice of having a buffoon run London or Gordon Brown run the entire country for two more years. Jilted John decided it for me (I know he's a moron ...Gordon is a moron...etc).

i want boris to win london so badly, just because it is boris![]()
Off to vote now.
For whom, or is that none of our business?

Conservative.
According to the Theory of War, which teaches that the best way to avoid the inconvenience of war is to pursue it away from your own country, it is more sensible for us to fight our notorious enemy in his own realm, with the joint power of our allies, than it is to wait for him at our own doors.

Wow. Apperently no one voted Labour but me.
Who thinks that Brown will have a hard time staying as PM? No rumours yet, but I can see some back benchers starting to pipe up. Ian Gibson has already said Brown only has 6 months to "move the party forward" or lose the next election.
And low behold, Boris is London Mayor!
Go back to your constituancies and prepare for oblivion...
Ouch for Labour, beaten into third place on overall votes cast during these elections.
Conservatives 44%
Lib-Dems 25%
Labour 24%.
If I was Gordon Brown I would be heading for the air raid shelters to get away from the Conservative onslaught. Apart from maybe some of the die hard socialist towns up north I honestly can’t see anything other then a conservative landslide tonight similar to that of the last years local elections.
Would have voted Conk if we didn't already have our local elections.
actually. most of the seats that are up for the vote (in england) are already conservative. no one is predicting a massive swing, alot of the seats that are up for vote that are not conservative are labour strongholds who would rather vote monster mad party then conservative.
we are not going to see any massive changes tonight, the conservatives are going to consider it a good night if they just gain 200 seats.
the only important thing likly to change is london.
Didn't vote. Unlikely anything would change here.

Illogical. My decision not to vote doesn't affect anyone elses choice. Simply wasn't worth the time. Besides i'm apathetic over democratic elections anyway.
Anyway, this is central manchester. The people here tend to vote "traditionally". Labour could do exactly the opposite of their manifesto and people would still vote for them because that's what their parents have always done.
The Conservatives didn't have a chance and there was no BNP candidate afaik which were my only two choices. My home council (solidly conservative) wasn't voting so i couldn't vote there anyway.
Take the scores for Manchester. Before this election;
LAB 61
LD 33
CON 1
GRE 1
After this election;
LAB 61
LD 34
CON 1
GRE 0
Probably the least change of all the council results announced so far. This despite the fact the only people i've even seen out campaigning have been the conservatives!!![]()
