    I had an idea to make a mod that included events where certain holy relics turn up in certain regions, eg the holy grail,spear of destiny,ark of the covenant etc.Each relic would be guarded by a certain type of Knight (in huge numbers).Capturing these relics would add as an example the holy grail increases how quickly churches are built in your regions and give +points on all religious standings.Now all that seems possible to me, but in the case of the ark i would like it to be used as some kind of super weapon capable of wiping out large numbers of troops.. is it possible to script the game to make such a weapon of mass destruction possible? Any help or feedback would be most welcome..

    Well first off I'd just recommend playing heroes of might and magic if large groups of the same type of unit guarding artifacts is your thing.

    Being somewhat constructive-the game already allows many of these relics to be found (just check the ancillaries file) - I'd simply recommend increasing their chances to be found. You can't make a superweapon like the arc, however, so that's a no-go.
