Crash after sacking sparta

(If anyone from the political forum replies, I will close this thread and not return. I do not even want to LOOK at you ugly people.)

I am playing with the EB mod. I'm not sure if it's from RTW or EB.

I am patched to 1.6. I am playing EB through BI.


I play as Macedonia. I took Athens from the Greeks and then went south to take Sparta without incident. I chose to Occupy the city, and right after that I crash with the option to report the crash to microsoft.

What do I do next to get down on this error?

This has been a problem as old as RTW. It is a random crash. If you have a save up to that point, reload it and try it, again.

Thanks. I did that and took Sparta. I went north to reclaim the province that the Epi starts out with massive units at, because they took it earlier, and I had no problems. I sent a general west to be governor for a province I took before I took sparta, which has since left it's army in the province and been idle for a few winters. When he got there, the crash happened again.

I'm not sure if I want to keep going through this.
Any chance of a patch for this? Otherwise... maybe I should go back to M2TW.
but EB is so fun to play...

I think you need to talk to EB. It sounds like their family tree might have a bad spot and got a family member someplace out of order.

I am going to uninstall EB. That seems like a much better solution instead of waiting around for days. EB team is no help at all.
