problem with AI priests or just my prob?
i noticed that the AI isn't recruiting priests, only the muslim factions, i checked about 7 games (toggle_fow) , and after all the initial priests died(around turn 130 ), i cant see catholic, pagan, ortodox priests in my games, the college of cardinals is empty or fulled with all my cardinals, this also is contributing to a lot of heresy in various AI setlements, causing a lot of rebeling, but i dont know if this problem only happens to me, so for now im
looking in the files if its posible to make the AI able to recruit more priests, or something like that, but i cannot find where i can change this.
i didnt' have that problem in stainless steel 5.x , so it could be only me
so could you please check if you also have this problem
(all the games i played were in early era campaign)

Same here, no priests in my game. I am the only one who recruits priests which guarantees I get the pope at every election.

After a certain number of turns all Catholic priests except the player's seem to die out, after a 100 turns you rule the Vatican regardless.
I noticed this after only having Norwegian Cardinals when i was playing them, usually the Italian City-states get the lot there.
