Strange problem
Ok, so I've played this game quite a bit and I just recently bought a new laptop about a month ago. When I first got this laptop it would freeze the game, now for some reason it doesn't.
But now my issue is that the game constantly crashes when I end a turn. The last two campaigns as soon as I get to being around ten to eight turns away from getting my Imperial palace, in a play besides Rome, the game crashes. It says "Rome is not working properly at this time, windows will close and alert you if it finds a reason" or some
.
Anyways, this is enraging me to the point where Im very near smashing this brand new laptop into a million pieces. All I want is my
ing Marian reforms which Ive never gotten in RTR.
Thing is I dont think its the game causing this, there has to be something wrong with my comp, but virus protection is up to date and scans every other day and when it finds stuff it fixes it. So I have no idea, my Itunes will freeze on me too, stops playing music and while my cursor still moves around it won't let me open anything new, or close anything open and when I try to restart it does nothing. It also doesnt allow me to open the task manager or whatever it is. Is this just ridiculous bs associated with Vista or something? I never had ANY of these problems on my XP desktop. Especially in regard to RTW or RTR. Ive had RTW since it came out and played it on a number of crappy computers, this new laptop cant even play it on full gfx.

Re: Strange problem
Unless by some lucky coincidence the game actually crashes as a result of a revolt ctd I can`t help you. If you haven`t already it might be worth to try the hotfix at this point.
