Diplomacy
Forgive me if this has been discussed because topics fly by so fast here.
I really like the diplomacy in SS 6.0. I've never had so much fun with offer, counteroffer, tweak and agreement. As Catholic Castile I also think I experienced greater difficulty in negotiations with an orthodox faction. I can't remember if I started out on Hard to refamiliarize myself with the game or Very Hard as I normally do. Anyway, it's very good.
The major problem I have is how on the strategy map I'm reminded of how old my computer is. The battles work just fine though.

Re: Diplomacy
If you mean that your campaign map is running slowly, try turning off campaign map shadows in the video options screen on the main menu. Should speed things up for you

Re: Diplomacy
Yeah diplomacy is way better than vanilla, as most things are. about the campaign map. Well that's not your old computer, I just got a new uber one (check my profile for the specs) and I still get slowdowns on the campaign map when going to west europe's forests. And yeah disabling campaign shadows seems to help.
