i need some advice

so here is my situation.i am poland i currently have a good aera of poland under my control.and i have 1 decent castle in turkey.and i have a situation in poland and spain/portugal.in the early period i bought 2 casltes from spain and 1 from portugal.i built armies while economicly upgrading poland.then i started an offense vs portugal and spain (unfortuently i allied with the moors after the conflict starting and not befor,so it was a 2v1v1 for a while)i counqure leon,burgos,slamaica,toledo,and some random cosstly city which was lost soon after.i occupied thoes terratores thinking i was going to win(nub mistake i know) and have an empire down in that location so england can be attacked from 2 fronts.but that backfired and soon i started loosing cities and castles,i still have the ability to build an army and fight atm but money is tight.should i try to hold off their attacks until i can rebuild another army,or go to their undefended cities,sack them,sell everything inside and use that money for a massive army in poland.that was the spainish part.now in pland i am being attacked by 2 sides,east and west.i have HRE helping me stop denmark from taking any more cities (they have only one),and that side has a medicore defense but am sure denmark wont try anything. but on the other side am neck to neck with lituania,i could just recruit some archers (with the loss of 1 city to lituania) and stay on d while the problems in spain come in control,or just sack and demolish all of spain and focus on lithuania and denmark?




PS:if this was just awful to read plz tell me. i could edit it so its more readable and properly worded.

EDIT:ok nvm am boned.my army in spain betrayed me after sacking 1 city.i lost my 2nd largest city to lithuania,another city revolted. now i think the polish empire is about to fade out of exsistance.oh and i think hungry would like to have part of poland

First off, never occupy, just exterminat or sack cities. What I would Do is bring down all troops from the polish area to Byzantium And capture a few big cities including Constantinople. Garrison them with militia, disband all extra units. Then I would just sell all of your other territories to some other weak faction that wil lose them anyway. By doing this you will rebuild your economy, and gain a relatively safe place to rebuild forces and organize yourself.

The mistake that I noticed is that you spread your domain too much. Having a castle here and there in many different places may look cute, but it also means that there are big possibilities for obtaining too many fronts with enemies, and having to finance garrisons in many places. Also, if your realm is not unified, you lose the bonus of cities with only free upkeep units, which produce money in the heart of your kingdom. You only need to protect your borders, so make sure your borders are as small as possible.
