    Default Bribing?

I realize this isn't the most honorable thing to do, but I hate killing the rogue rebel generals that seem to randomly spawn. So I attempt to bribe them, but so far I have had horrible results.

I am willing to pay exorbitant sums of money (I have a couple rich files), but the honest jerks just won't accept. Who would have thought rebels had honor?!?!

    What determines it?

    Game of the Fates
Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there.
BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS! (Okay, just once)
Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.

I have never successfully bribed anyone. Ever. in any M2 game or mod. ever.

I think that mostly rebel generals are really non-family generals of factions that have been destroyed but I could be wrong. I don't think it's worth it to try to bribe them too. Except maybe the cool ones like El Cid and William Wallace. Speaking of which, are there any more of those historically accurate generals that spawn in the game at some point?

I tried doing that as well once and i had to cheat for the amount of money that they wanted el cid was like 250,000 it was stupid crazy that much money back then and you could take on the pope.

someone with more intelligence then myself needs to take a look and try and fix the bribing system cause CA clustered it cause its never worked right

ive been able to bribe lots throughout m2..

in ss 6.0, if i send a high level diplomat to bribe a halfstack it could cost anywhere from 10-20k

10-20k? man you can make a pretty high end army of that.
