    Post your ideas and suggestions for Stainless Steel 6 here!

    You can be sure that I'm carefully reading all suggestions and I always try to consider the most of them...

    Please remember that the more constructive and reasonable your suggestion is (try to provide sources, pictures, think of game balance, strength, weaknesses...), the more chance it will have to get implemented.

    I was wondering what your thoughts would be on an execute option for family tree members, generals, spies, assassians, mercahants, princesses, and priests. This option could be used to get rid of "bad" family members or generals with low loyalty such as those with unwatched by king triats and such instead of taking them and sending them to death via battle or sinking in a boat or acts of God...

    Extending on that, for example you have a family member with low loyalty and lets say he has a brother or two and you execute them for having low loyalty maybe the brothers can get a boost in loyalty due to fear of being executed next if they don't behave or it can cause them to rebel against you (make it rendomized) to balance out issues.

    I have no idea if this can be done but it seems like it could be a cool feature to have. Maybe a little video for it as well like the spies and assassians get. This feature would also be historically accurate as well.

    Feel free to expand on this idea or tell me it sucks but I like it.

    KK,

    Could we swap Batumi for Kutaisi (they are in about the same place), as one was important in roman times, and the other the capital of the Kingdom of Georgia.

    This is an awesome idea! but could we take this family tree thing and go further to choose the next faction heir in your tree, or maybe even get to choose the baby boy/girls name from a dropdown list....

    Hardcoded. This is unfortunatly impossible.

    A bridge is urgently needed south of Paris. As it is now, any unit moving out of the Cité has to make ridiculously long detours (green arrows). Perhaps at the point marked in red?

    Paris lies on top of the Seine, surely there were enough bridges even in those times to move directly south form it!

    I like this idea, i also would like a mod that could allow you to choose the next in line for the throne, perhaps also some custom titles like Lord of Devon etc..

    Maybe a greater array of avatars for your characters (how do you do this if it can already be done).

    i also would like a mod that could allow you to choose the next in line for the throne,

    it's hardcoded to choose whomever has the highest authority, I read a thread in the mod workshop, the best way to deal with this is to cheat adding traits or ancillaries to whomever you want to become the next heir, I havn't found a mod that did it but if a tradeable ancillary was created that includes a high authority bonus with it that would predetermine who would be the next heir

    well... it´s will always be the son of the current heir (oldest) that´s chosen... but if the son is too young, a regent will be chosen starting with brothers or brothers-in-law from the current ruler... authority has not so much to do with it...

    I usually let the regent search for trouble in the country side and make some cool suicide charges against the rebel scum to kill him off as a hero of the reign... then the son of the former ruler can take his place as the next legitimate ruler of the galaxy... hrm...realm...

    hi all , i m new to SS i have played kingdoms and TATW before. i hav installed SS6.1+SSTC+RR+BGR 3....i want to play a late campaign which is not so hard...i tried to play Kwarezem but in the 2nd turn i saw atleast full 4 stack mongol armies on my lands .... i got scared i exited SS n came to the forum for help.

    Plz dont tell me to play scotland bcoz i dont want....suggest me somene frm the following: France, HRE,Keivin Rus or any other european factions except scotland,ireland,lithunia(suggest me some big powerfull nation with gr8 looking rosters bcoz for me graphics matters most in a game)

    Personally I like the idea of assassination of your own units. Maybe a failed assanation attempt could turn them into a rebel unit or even give them negative traits that could lead up to a rebellion of that unit after more than one attempt. Think about it, if your Ruler gets some sort of madness trait or is really quite a burden on your nation with his many negative traits. You could try and off him with an assassin and based on whether or not it succeeds or fails could have a pos or neg effect on your nation. For example if it succeeds all generals get a negative trait saying they took part in an assassination attempt or are paranoid because they might be next. Also if it fails there could be all sorts of traits you could throw into the mix.

    Can't be done I'm afraid. Such things are hardcoded.

    Sorry about this but could you do 2 things for 6.1.
    1Will you get rid of the Saethyweyr archers for Ireland as i find it annoying to think of welshmen in the Irish army.
    2.Will you please update the unit cards for Norway and Ireland please as i hate to see vanilla cards in SS.

    hmm the Saethwyr are pretty much needed for balancing, although I don't think Ireland ever used the Longbow. And my only complaint with Ireland is the Scottish sounding voices used for them and that on the mini map they have the same colour as Turkey. It would be hard, but a very cool thing to try and find any actual Irish members of twcenter.net and get them to record some voices for Ireland faction

    This one has to be said in this thread even if it's not possible to be done before SS 9.0.

    Please remove Ireland and Scotland for Serbia and Georgia.

    While I am completely for the removal of Ireland. Removing the scots would give the british islands the same problems it had in RTW, where the faction would Dominate a large swath of provinces uncontested.

    I would remove the Templars and the Irish, for Serbia or Georgia and the Abbasid Caliphate. As these areas are the most in need of a new faction. (Abbasids can be used in Early and late campaign with Equal effectiveness.The final Caliph at Baghdad even re-expanded the Caliphate t encompass a large swath of land in Iraq in Persia and became one of the Khwarezem's chief enemys and was only defeated because the mongol empire came threw and destroyed bothe the Shahdom and the Caliphate.

    Can you fix this problem by making the Rebels a more aggressive faction a la EB? Make the Irish a rebel stronghold. It'd be a great addition overall and make the game more challenging if you had to worry about rebels attacking you, etc.

    Cornwall was never an international power. I dont see how it could be turned into a faction.
