Emerging factions

Are the factions represented in the late era campaign included in the early one as emerging factions? I'm of course familiar with how the Mongols are scripted to show up, but will there be a KoJ, and a Teutonic order in my game if I choose to play the early campaign?

Ye the TO will emerge in the early camp, but KOJ won't.

I wonder if I should not play the late campaign then. How do the mongols fare in the late campaign? Are they usually able to destroy the Kwarzimians.

I haven't played a late campaign yet but in the early campaign the kwarz-whatever are extremely powerful and have a large area. So I doubt it.
