Iq'tadar is good for?

Hi, I really want to know what is the reason behind high prices of Iq'tadar (by +400 gold recruitment and +250 upkeep) other than obvious +1 defense and "Very good stamina" from Sipahis. I personally don't use Sipahis at all because they are slower than Turkomans, and I like to use units what they are designed for (i hate jack of all trades, ace of none story). So if I plan to engage I will NEVER go with sipahis, so for shooting I go Turkomans only.

2nd question is why are Halberd Militias/Pike Militias so expensive and have insignificant stats? Is their "effective against armour" such an uber skill? I prefer 6 Attack 16 Defense (not taking into consideration +def/shield/armor) unit over another which is 5A 11D "effective against armour" and Twice as expensive.

So am i doing something wrong not using those 2 unit types?

Halberd Militias/Pike Militias have spear wall, and long spears which makes them awsome

what does long spear give me btw?

i'm trying to justify for myself the higher training/upkeep/class cost of halberd & pikemen over spearmen (im a defense lover too tho)

1. Iq`tadar have more puch in cloase combat then the turkomans. More armor and better.

2. I attacked with my feudal foot knights a unit of pike millitia and they destroyed me. yes littel revenland they are that good now. One time they were on the wall and spreed out in one long line. I killed mayby 15 and they killed 60 Feudal foot knights. With armor upgrade and wepons upgrade. They killed by boys with thoes god forsaken pikes

ok so they are "heavy armor destroyers" because i usually don't pay much attention to "good morale" or "good stamina" traits but obviously "effective against armour" is very significant

but iqtadar still sucks and best unit can't be "jack of all trades" i'd rather go with 3 Quapakulu + 5 Turkomans than 8 Iqtadar (which will cost me less too)

i would have 3 Quapakulu , 3 Iq`tadar and just 2 turkomans
Why ??? because you never know when wou need some extra punch to flank. Turkomans can`t do . they die very fast and if your Quapakulu are destroyed or doing something else and you need to to flank someone fast then the Iq`tader are better then Turkomans.

youre a money man which is something good. I think siphas are awesome but if you disagree it is your game.
I just think its good to see someone who thinks alot about money...it shows you think alot about decisions in the game and aren't rash.

its just that i'm going -5,000 every turn with my current expansion (at 160,000 right now), i'm trying to help ukraine beat russia, unite azerbaijan with turkey, beat spain since they bully moors + build everywhere, and my funds are declining
