    How do i Curb growth in half.
    I an Doing a 2tpy and cities are growing to fast.

    Check out the descr_settlement_mechanics file in the mods/SS6/data folder.

    The ones that affect populations growth like farms and chivalry.

    be careful when altering the population growth as there is a very fine line in balance. You may need to alter 4 different files.

    settlment mechanics.xml (data folder) - balance growth, squalor, health etc
    regions.txt (base folder) - base farming levels per region
    descr strat.txt (imperial campaign folder) - to reset settlement population levels at campaign start, only need to alter this file if settlement upgrade levels for population is changed in the xml file.
    EDB (data folder) - as a last resort for finding balance you may need to give certain buildings farming bonuses, health bonuses, growth bonuses

    If these files are not balanced then some settlements will not grow beyond a certain level no matter what you do, and later stages of the game you will find population growth completly non existant.
    ...longbows, in skilled hands, could reach further than trebuchets...
