    Default Playing as rebels?

    Sorry for another noobish question, but I modify the starting resources to be 3 million for every faction and play a sort of "death match" game. It is loads of fun. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to play as rebels on the campaign. I have this silly idea of having a rebel stronghold in europe and the middle east in my game. Thanks!

    no because the rebel faction can have no cities and still exist because if a settlement rebels it goes under that banner

    you can try by making them plyable via data/world/campaign/imperial_campaign
    and in there there is a file (descr_strat) and it goes

    faction x
    faction y
    faction z yeda yada yada....
    non playable factions
    pope
    tumrids
    rebels cut the rebles and put them on the top were it says playable AND IT MIGHT WORK good luck

    I had to move mongols to unplayable to be able to select them. And no crash yet, but the only problem so far is that buildings don't tell me what units I can build. Thanks!

    i think to do that you will have to change some thing in the export_building_dscrt (in the data folder) copy a line replace the unit with one that the rebels can use and then replace the faction name with slave and test to see if it works (cause i think I'm forgetting something as usual)
