    Default not going anywhere.

well the game is at a dead end.my profit is 109 at 1159AD.since merchant trade is useless i am not getting any income. only 275 and i got like 10 merchants.and for some reason my army upkeep is 10k and corruption is 5k.everything else looks about right except thoes 2.

No it isn't the game is over when you lost you last city...

Besides what are you trading with you merchants and where are they trading it...

Oh and I would use that 10k army...

Add a little detail, faction, LE or EE campaign, maybe even a map. Because with 10 merchants you should have plenty of trade, let alone from things like roads, markets, ports, merchant guilds etc.

To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.

well thats the problem. i dont have a 10k army.i only have 5 places that are forrtifed with 4-6 units. while most towns just have 1-3 units.i have no idea where the 10k is coming from, other the 5k from corruption.

here a tip go to your campaign.xml and open it in word pad scroll down till you find the merchants area and change the # there by double and that should help[ your merchant problem

Disband some units and place only free upkeep militia in cities?

I could tell you lots of ways to cheat, but what would be the point of playing then?

As to the scroll, I notice some things
    1. You are paying 900 tribute to some one
    2. You have poor merchants. Try sending them to look for tobacco resources in Anotolia or Palestine. I would not send a merchant to any resource which does not bring in 100 on its own, and normally find ones with 300-500.
    3. You have a expensive army, how much cavalry do you posses.
    4. What is your castle to city ratio.

ok so i went to my most fortified city. got the avg cost of the units and times it by how many units i had. then i times that by how many regions i controled, and the total was around 6k.so if i have every city and castle fortfied with atlest 8 units the max should be 6k.and most of my cities are empty except for 1 unit or general.

i have absolutley no cavalry.i changed my merchant income and now most resources are between 200-600.well the ones in egypt and far away places.my army upkeep just seems to be messed up.NO WAY i have a 10k army.my city to csatle ratio is bad. 9-5 but i dont have 10k to change my castles to cities.here is a ss proving i have no army but still an insane upkeep.

Try to lower your castle/towns defence where its not needed that will save you some money.

I don't want to sound rude but you could start a new game on an easyer difficulty level until you know how the game economy works.

^i know how it works.my army upkeep cost is insane,no way that i could have 10k army upkeep while having the worst army in the whole game.something is messed up.

yes it is ? how many generals/family members do you have cause their expensive (bodyguards)

o and also another thing if you have the stone forts working make sore you have
free_upkeep_forts_2 I mean if your paying 2500 for a fort you should get two free upkeeps right?
