[Citizen][FAILED] 0:6:0 4.5.08 Xavier_Dragnesi. Patron Prince Of Macedon

Hail to you, Belisarius, and to all who vote on such matters!
A member has come to me seeking Citizenship. His name is Xavier_Dragnesi. I wouldn't patronize any random person because that would reflect poorly on myself if a poor-mannered individual were to become a Citizen through my sponsorship.

But this person, Xavier_Dragnesi, causes me no worries. He is very-well mannered, and he has contributed immensely to the TWC already. Following in my footsteps, he has already hosted 1 Rome: Total War forum tourney. And he hosted it at a time that was convenient for the East Asia/Australia/New Zealand part of the world (something that I'm unable to do because of my geography). And recently, he took the initiative and has sponsored a King of the Hill event which allows for players to compete online to become a King of the Hill (currently myself) for Rome: Total War MP players.

Aside from satisfying the TWC's expectations of a Citizen, he's also had to satisfy MY OWN requirements which stresses online gaming with R:TW, good-manners online, and productivity on the forum. Basically, people who seek my sponsorship have to be well-mannered MP players.

My Paragraph:
When I first started playing RTW, I must say I was a complete noob. Finding this forum on the net was, I have to say, a lifesaver for me. For the first few weeks, I just stayed as a guest and read things that others posted, slowly gaining my knowledge. Then I decided to join this forum when I first saw a few questions posted that I could answer, and since then, I believe I have done a pretty good job in helping others out when they ask, giving any advice that I think would be helpful, congratulating achievements being friendly to other members, stayed close to the rules and participating in as many activites as I could. I think that those things that I have done mark a good citizen of not just a forum but even in a true life community. Therefore, I believe I deserve the citizenship.

Here is how well I believe I satisfy your requirements:
1. I've had about 4 months experience online
2. I've played 4 games aginst you, though losing all of them.
3. I always use GL HF, and I only say GG when I really mean it. I've experienced how it feels when I know I've played really really bad, and someone just says GG to look polite.
4. I have only engaged in small debates that have never resulted in anything violent, and if anything does get violent, I try to calm it down instead of heat it up.
5. I have violated none of the rules that I have read in the rules page.
6. I spend at least 3 hours on the forums everyday, and post in any thread that I have something to contribute to.
7. I have been quite productive in my opinion, helping others, giving them advice, starting a new multiplayer idea.... Plus a maintained average of 14 posts per day isn't too bad I think.
8. I don't think I've been told off either by you or any other moderators yet.

The part of his paragraph and interpration of requirements of citizenship is bizarre and weak.I've noticed this multiplayer contribution on the other recent candidate's paragraph as well.So hosting mp games can be considered as a contribution to the site? :hmmm: What do you gentlemen think?

And as a sidenote asking for rep at the sig is a definite negative.

Paraphrasing from candidate's paragraph:

"I know I've played really really bad, and someone just says GG to look polite."

Seriously.What is it to any relevance to the candidate patron,or to us CdeC,or to anyone else whether he played badly or not.Surely this sentence alone is a good proof that the candidate have had a hardtime for spotting and putting forth his merits and contributions,so he came up with this.

I at least applaud the effort made!

He (Xavier Dragnes) looks to have put some effort into the application. But no matter the effort, he obviously does not know what it takes to become a Citizen.
