Problems installing the mod.

Jesus Christ.. this is unbelievable i've tried everything now(i think), downloaded 6.0 on filefront two times now.. and it doesnt work.. Also downloaded the torrent, and i failed to install that one to..
It says "the objekt your trying to open cant be found, or you dont have permission to open it." (note, something like that but its on swedish)
Ofcours im admin on my computer and i have permission to open it.

Support please!!

P.S. is this the same sort of installation typ as the other SS patches where in?

Do you have antivirus turned on?

The installer KK uses sometimes is recognized as a 'generic' trojan(in other words, it behaves similar to a trojan, but is not a known virus).

Try turning off your antivirus, then go to your antivirus' quarantine area and bring the install files back to somewhere usable, and run them.

If they aren't there, as in perhaps you have the antivirus set to automatically delete problem files, then redownload the files and run them.

I also have a similar problem. After closing AVG to avoid the problems in the first post, clicking on the exe does nothing. No error message, just nothing. I have tried both the torrent and filefront versions.

The installer takes a long time to load, just be patient.

Can you share what it was, in case someone else has the same issue?

Well uninstalling AVG completely solved the problem, so I am inferring from that, that AVG was preventing the install from working even when turned off.
