Can't start Late Era campaign

Early Era works fine for me, but I can't seem to start a late era campaign. When I select a faction and then click the next button, it brings me to the page where you choose the "Late Era" campaign from a scroll list, and pressing the next button there does nothing. Selecting back brings you to the main menu again.

Does giving Teutonic Order a family tree have anything to do with this?

Yes, the problem you describe is caused by a mistake you or somebody made while adding a family tree. I had the same problem when adding a family tree to Austria in my mod.
Try to use the backup and see if you can get into the campaign.

Thanks, I rechecked and apparently I made a typo in one of the family names.. corrected it and I can get into the Late Era fine now.

Sorry this got posted here, as it's apparently not a bug and just my carelessness
