Default Lower terrain mod (building forts and see Trebizond /Gorgan )

If you build forts on top of high terrain, such as mountain passes, etc you

will get some major graphical errors on the battlemap due to terrain height

    limitations.

The ground will be flat and the walls up in the air.

This file helps fix, lowering the terrain level on the map.

Plus you can now see settlements like Trebizond and Gorgan.

You will need to unzip to

    Stainless_Steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign

delete map.rwm and start a new campaign.

    REVISED for SS6.1 >

Any one is free to use this file but you might want to try Lusted's geographydb file, it seems to solve the height problem with forts..

I'm just using this file mainly for stratmap now, since I couldn't see some of the cities and units without zooming way out ..

I tested Lusted file with and without the terrain_heights near one of the Turkish lakes where there used to be steep cliffs and there little or no difference on the battle map.

It will work, but you must install to /base, /custom and /imperial_campaign

in the data/world folder and delete all map.rwm's in those folders.

When you start a new campaign, it takes about 30 seconds for the new .rwm

    to rebuild..
