Unspecified error during battles SS 6.0

Ok I know this is vague, but it's really sucking the life out of me.

I've tried playing a late era campaign with several different factions, every time I load a battle on the campaign map it runs fine for a random period of time, and then the game crashes to 'an unspecified error'.

Sometimes I can finish a battle before it crashes, most of the time I cannot.

I've installed a fresh M2TW+Kingdoms+1.5+SS6.0
I've installed both parts of SS 6.0
I've reinstalled my video drivers

I Suspected it was cut scenes causing the crash so I removed them as well from the config, but sometimes they still run anyways which doesn't make any sense.

Anything you guys might be able to think of would be really great, I've been dying to play a whole new campaign, but i haven't gotten farther than turn 7.

try to reinstall the game + mod without patch 1.5 perhaps that fixes the problem for you. It is unfortunately all I can think of.

PS: Are you running the game on a cracked .exe?

nope I'm running the U.S. Gold version game disc...

I have simillar problem, but during AI turns...

First I've played Novgorod (late camp) and between 99 and 100 turn I have uspecifed error, like kichinko raport.

Now I play Bizantium (early camp) and have the same between 133/134 AI turn.

I've tried to load game and try again with "end turn"... always the same error when the same fraction is "moving".

Is there any solution for this problem?

right now I'm reinstalling whole game, I'll instal 1.5 (didn't have so far) and instal 3 times SS 6.0

Please don't install 1.5. leave it at 1.4.
I hope reinstalling fixes your problem.

When you reinstall, I would suggest leaving out the "epic battles". It is going to push all but the highest end system to the limit.

Start with small unit size at first; play some battles.

If everything runs okay you can start increasing your unit sizes from there.

My problem currently continues (ctd during battles) with a fresh reinstall, no 1.5, and no sub mods... continuing to trouble shoot

Are you guys starting a new game or continuing from an old save?

If I continue I have crash (as I wrote above - Novgorod, then Biznatium)
Now I'm giving SS third chance - I'm playing englad, 24 turns - OK, but will see what happen after about 100 more...

i also have the same problem as certoipus. I played HRE and after 70-80 turns during AI turns the game crashes and i must restart the game. I am also playing with the persians and its up to 120 turns and i have no problem only the mongols. I will reinstall just in case
