Freeze afte conquering Great Seljuks?

Okay... not sure where this is supposed to be, as I was holding off on installing the 1.05 patch until I'd finished my Khwarezm short campaign, so I don't think it goes in that thread, but the 1.0 thread is locked.

Playing as the Khwarezmshah. No matter what year (1192-1198) or method (conquer/force surrender/autoresolve) I use to take the last Great Seljuk city, Amol, which would complete off all of the win conditions for the short campaign, the game freezes. It doesn't crash; I just can't do anything within the game itself. I can ctrl-alt-del and forcequit M2TW just fine.

As soon as I conquer Amol and select an option on the Occupy/Sack/Exterminate screen, it freezes the game.

Am I screwed? Should I just give up on finishing off the Seljuks, install the 1.05 patch, and leave the poor Khwarezmians hanging?

it's an issue with the formation of the seljuk horde, wait 15-30minutes and your game should run again

I'm not sure what you mean. If I just let the game sit there frozen for a long time, it will continue onward eventually?

You should really install patch 1.05.
