    Default Changes to EDU do not change anything.

    So I unpacked everything, got the EDU, played around with which nations get longbowmen and attributes of some other units, save it, and load M2TW only to find that none of those changes I made in the EDU have affected the game whatsoever.

    Since it's Export_Descr_Unit do I need to import them back to the game somehow or what?

    Thanks!

    No, normally the changes in the EDU work (but look if it is write-protected). But what exactly did you change? If you wanted for example add longbowmen to the HRE, it is not done if you simply add HRE to ownership. You had to change some more files, for example the EDB (buildings), if you wanted them in the campaign- and that is the easy part- but you also have to give them skins, and this is difficult (for me it looks at least difficult). But I remember here were some threads about it.

    This is a tutorial about making it.

    think you need alteration in your config file to say use files first - something like
    [io]
    file_first = 1
    as the packs although unpacked tend to be referred to despite files being present

    you might need new .cfg file as the original one can keep getting overwritten - unless late patches changed something..- have search around here on 'io file_first' you should find something hopefully.....
