    Icon4 Wierd Campaign problem

hey, i just put medieval 2 back on but it seems to not want to work, ive had the game on this same computer when it was a much lower spec and it worked fine.
the problem is, i start a campaign and set the advice to only vital, upon entering the game the advice seems to have reset itself to Tell Me All and i am unable to move using the arrow keys, after about 10 seconds the computer restarts and doesn't tell me why, this happens for all factions
i have put the game on a much lower spec laptop and it doesn't have this problem.

    my current spec is,

ati radeon X1950 pro (drivers fully updated)
    CPU athelon XP3200
    Motherboard asus a7n9xx
    Soundblaster audigy 2
    2gb RAM

I'd recommend re-installing since that seems to be the no.1 fix for this game unfortunately.Plus your game is resetting options and that is an indication that it's more or less something to do with the game itself rather than hardware.Or so it would seem...

install the game, try it out and if there are no problems then install 1.2 and 1.3 so you'll be up to date.

Clean out your computer, dust kills. Also since you have updated it, what did you update?

Your processor seems to be low end. Have you tried it on the lowest settings? Once you have your preferences set, have marked the file read-only?

Is the power supply large enough for the video card? Especially the 12v lines?
