    Icon3 Execute Option

I was wondering what your thoughts would be on an execute option for family tree members, generals, spies, assassians, mercahants, princesses, and priests. This option could be used to get rid of "bad" family members or generals with low loyalty such as those with unwatched by king triats and such instead of taking them and sending them to death via battle or sinking in a boat or acts of God...

Extending on that, for example you have a family member with low loyalty and lets say he has a brother or two and you execute them for having low loyalty maybe the brothers can get a boost in loyalty due to fear of being executed next if they don't behave or it can cause them to rebel against you (make it rendomized) to balance out issues.

I have no idea if this can be done but it seems like it could be a cool feature to have. Maybe a little video for it as well like the spies and assassians get. This feature would also be historically accurate as well.

Feel free to expand on this idea or tell me it sucks but I like it.

*To Mods* If you feel this should be in the suggestion thread please feel free to move it there once it has had its day in getting replies and ideas. Thanks

That would be nice, I would love to execute the generals with the "Your not my King" trait, I have 4 of those...

sometimes you have too many useless generals around dont know what to do with them same with other characters, such as vreatin a 50 year old assassian...I mean whats the point right? He's gonna die anyways soon enough, useless to train them up.

Great idea, very realistic. Wonder if it´s possible though..
It looks bad in the newspapers and upsets civilians at their breakfast...

I believe this is impossible, as is the inability to designate a faction heir, as in Rome: Total War.

Maybe through script? Is there a command that is like "kill_character" or something?

It would be a nice feature, but I think it's too much work to make it happen.

i don't think it's possible, but what i do for such generals and useless family members is send them on suicide missions or put them on a boat and let them fight large pirate stacks knowing they'll lose or just put em to sea until a storm gets them

i do that too, but sometimes the damn boats take forever to sink!

I always wondered why they took away the option to designate an heir.
Anyone know the reasoning behind it?

I think its because CA didn't want people to abuse the system and have incompetent kings once in a while as it was in History.

Won't be possible unless you change the exe file wich I think isn't allowed...

I would like an option to fire agents though, sometimes you need to save cash, and you might have spies/priests you don't need. That would be nice, considering you can disband armies etc.

I think there was an option like this in the original Shogun Total War. You was able to make the characters commit sepuku (take their own life with a knife).

Also choosing next heir to the throne would be great!

i usually just have my disloyal generals under the same army in with my king. That way that bad boy is always under watch

who know maybe his bad traits will disappear
"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...
