Strange problem

I'm playing with The Ayyubid Sultanate(Egypt in vanilla) and I like it a lot, the graphics models and stuff. So I decided to clean up my back yard first, that is destroy the Kingdom of Jerusalem. But the game just doesn't happen. Whenever I conquer their last city, and now I've done it repeatedly, the game just kinda stops, then the KOJ move their ships a little and then it kinda stops again. Kinda ruining my whole game experience during my first game. Is there anyone who experienced this, or is there a way to fix this. Or should I just start another campaign? Please help cause it's really quite annoying
