Look like a mod for MTW2, but its a game, look very good, great skins, but no siege i think

XIII Century is a real-time strategy game driven by an epic storyline torn from the pages of history. Players control European kings and dukes, Russian princes and boyars, and Mongolian khans and noyons. XIII Century features large-scale battles with thousands of soldiers clashing on detailed, realistic battlefields. This historical simulation recreates actual conditions of these glorious battles, taking into account the effects of terrain and weather.
Wage war through 30 battles across 5 campaigns for the nations of England, France, Mongolia, Germany, and Kievan Rus' (Russia). Recreate great battles that changed the course of medieval history, including the battle of Bouvines (July 27, 1214), the battle of Falkirk (July 22, 1298), the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa (July 16, 1212), and the battle on Lake Peipus (April 5, 1242). Many of the conflicts in XIII Century have never been featured in any PC game before, including the battle of Gelheim (July 2, 1298), battle of Taillebourg (July 22, 1242), and the siege of the stronghold Salvatierra (1211).

It has already been released. What put me off is it has no sandbox mode. It's like you would buy MTW II and only be able to play the historical battles

Hi,

XIII century is only based on historical battles in 3 campaigns (England, France, HRE).

The battles are really interesting, maybe more strategics than the ones in MTW II : the battles maps are very nice and the armies use well the topography.

But, I think MTW II is better than XIII century because of his campaign map, amazing physical 3d engine in battles, more cosmetics details.

However, XIII century is a good alternative for users which likes to play historical battles.

Campaign map sucks, if there is an MP mode(there isnt )
Also, its not england, france HRE, but teutonic/lithuanian, mongol, russian, recanquisita, and a bit more.

this game dont run good for me ^^

The scroll lags , the delay its horrible , and I got good framerate

I own a Gtx 8800 750mb

Idk maybe some tech , but cant play it well so i was disappointed ^^

It took them like twelve years to make it too.... Come to think of it I used to be guirrella internet advertiser for video games ( after a while I couldn't do it anymore, it really sucks out your soul although it pays pretty well) Rest assured TW fans are their target audience for this piece of crap and they will be trolling here and at the org for every cent they can get.

Sorry dude but this post from someone with 17 posts ( on the most popular board on the site, a day after the SS release when traffic is high ) is more than a little fishy....get your posts up pal....It really sucks when you can't use threads like this in your screen shots for the publisher...I have to admit I was better at doing this than you are. My advice....quit your day job!

Xtiaan 72, is not a troll post, i play SS mods since the first release, and Total war since Shogun, but i play differents game too, and i found this game on the net, and this is very similar to TMW2, so i post here, if peoples know this game thats all

It looks promising indeed but it doesn't stand up to the task of challenging TW games. Especially TW mods.

Well to what I heard about this game the actual battles are the best out there even better than TW series.
There is actual tactics that come into play and 1 bad move or mistake is all it takes to lose a battle.
my friend has it so I'll ask him so lend it to me.
