I'm pretty sure it's only when you have a general in your army, then you right click on his portrait and it should be under traits.
but wait, wouldnt that mean it could be a better decision not to send a general with the army since without a general the supply trait wont play a role for your army?
btw i removed the supply traits from the game because this logic seems to make it stupid please point it out if im mistaken.
That's sort of what I was thinking, as well. Wouldn't it make more sense to move your army without a general, then have the general catch up later on, since he can usually move much faster then any normal unit can?
I don't know.. I'm not a big fan of the supply thing, unless it was really done well.. which I bet is impossible given what CA implemented into M2TW. I'm sure KK did his best with what he had, but I just don't think he had enough to work with.
Ya, its one of his traits it will say Army fully supplied or 75 supplies left and so on.
Could someone direct me to where I can find some info on how this system works?
when you first start a campaign, i think one of the points that he wrote up tells you how it works. If you still need help, then i will look for the byg thread that explains it

ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual?
WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard.
ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?
WITNESS: Guess.
IIRC your army can forage in an area for one turn and not use up their supplies. To restock their supplies they have to visit a friendly castle/city. I've never had any armies run out of supplies completely so I'm not sure what happens when they do.
Hmm ... interesting concept. I've been reading a book on Crusaders, (God's war. excellent book btw. prolly one of the best on this subject) and one of the major problems (or the most major problem, probably) for crusaders travelling from europe to middle east was supply. (i.e foooood) Crusaders often sacked local village/cities in eastern europe when they failed to negotiate with local authorities. (Or, sometimes, they lost this battle and dispersed by local forces. A lot of first crusading army, a.k.a people's crusader led by Peter the Hermit, was destroyed in this way while travelling european/byzantine lands)
