Battle Crashes Comp HELP!!!

Well i can't get my specs at the momment(at school on a laptop) but i do know that i have run this on a worse computer than I am now.

I can play the campgin and main menu watch the movies etc. But whenever i try to load a battle (custome, campegin, historcial ETC) it will start for a breif second circle my troops and then my computer will just instantly restart. I have reinstalled the games, scanned for trojans and viruses and what not. Maybe i should just try turning down the graphics settings, i don't know just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I've been looking but haven't seen any

Forgott to mention that i can run other games such as COD:4, supreme commander to an extent, World in conflict, age of empires 3, All of the steam games such as Counter strike source half life two and what nots. Their are others but those are the ones for the most part i play recently and the cod:4, wic and supreme commander are the newest ones that i play.

Open the tower and see if its dirty. If so, clean it out.

Ah is it just an overheating problem? If so thanks

Its actually the easiest to check. If not, then we need to look at memory or any recent hardware upgrades.
