How to increase battle sounds?

Hello everybody, first of all i want to thank King Kong and the Stainless Steel-Team for this brilliant mod! I LOVE IT!

Now my question: how can i increase the sounds on the battlemap (feetsound of marching troops, sound of flying arrows, fighting sounds, sound of rain dropping on the ground etc.)

i often play with the camera maxed out and therefor the sounds play very silent and sometimes sounds don t play at all, because my camera is too far away of the sound-source. but i like those battlesounds alot and i think they give the real battlefield-feeling. i would like to hear those sounds alot louder, especially when the camera is high above the battlefield. contrary to the battlesounds i would like some sounds on the campaing map alot more silent, because they are annoying (troops entering/leaving a ship etc.) If there is a way how i can do this just with increasing some entrys on descr_soundsblablabla-files (don t know whats the exact filename), please let me know.

Can´t you do this at sound options in the game menu?, you could try to lower the music sound and turn the battle sounds(don't know if that's how it's called) a bit louder. I'm not sure about this though.

yes, that helps a littlebit. but i would like to hear the sound not anchored to my camera-position but instead anchored to my troops. and some soundfiles only trigger when the camera is near enough (i saw some entries in a descr_sound file called "mindist", perhaps those are the things i have to mess with).

I dont think that is possible... Im afraid the only option i see is that u unpack evry single battle sound an use a audio program an boost evrysound in the game an that would take a year to do so the only thing u can do is just turn of musik an turn of your volume on the speekers
