Online Grand Campaign

I would like to set up a Online Grand Campaign via this thread. If you would like to join in, please PM me and tell me what faction you would like to have. Also, knowing there is a large number of factions, after 2 weeks I will start the campaign and if there are any openings still left, they will become AI.

Settings
- Difficulty : Very Hard
- Manage all cities = False
- Show CPU Moves = False
- Disable Console = True
- No battle time limit = False
- Autoresolve Battles = True
- Use Passwords = True

Rules
- Diplomacy, Alliances, backstabbing & espionage are all encouraged.
- Dev console must remain disabled
- Must play your turn within 48 hours or have some excuse.
- Passwords must be easy to remember and nothing important (if you leave you will be asked to supply the password for a substitute)
- Edit .cfg file in METW root by following Armatus Guide
- Have fun!!

Do we need Kingdoms? That guide you linked said specifaccly for kingdoms, and I only have M2TW.

And will battles with other players be carried out with multiplayer online battles? If so, then I can't join because for some reason it won't connect. It just locks up.

He linked the guide for Kingdoms mistakenly, check the sticky at top of this forum and you'll see the guide for Medieval II.

No, hotseat games whether they be live (as in sharing the same computer) or by email or through TWC forums do not allow for real time player vs player. Only real time player vs AI.

Kingdoms should not be needed as Vanilla factions are listed. I will be England. A PBM?

Suppose numbers are the key then usually, as you must auto-resolve all battles.

I will be Sicily, Denmark or HRE i will decide later if no one else decides to be the faction can i choose at the end for now im not sure im gona do a quick campaign with all of them and then find out.

well my friends i d like to take part as a milanese or venetian, although there is a strong possibility to not be here to august ( vacation and the like)

1 guestion?

In a hotseat game can u take part in a defensive battle against the A.I? or the a.i play for u? because as i have seen until now ,only when u attack u can do battles. In the other way ,they are autoresolved... :hmmm:
