    Pagan Mongols Mod for Stainless Steel 6.1 v0.4

    Background History:
    Genghis Khan, the unifier of the Mongolian nation, based his power on a mandate from Tengri himself, and began all his declarations with the words "by the will of Eternal Blue Heaven." The Mongols worshipped Tengri since their founding until 1312 when Islam was embraced by Mongol khans.

    Features:
    - The Golden Horde is now pagan and worship the supreme Turkic sky god Tengri
    - The Mongols can build Tengric altars, sanctuaries, and temples
    - The Mongols can recruit pagan priests and pagan high priests
    - New faction description for the Mongols
    - New pagan priest and pagan high priest textures
    by Caesar Clivus
    - Includes All Factions Horde mod by Allu X
    - Includes correct adjectives for Novgorod, Fatimids, and Seljuks by Caesar Clivus


    ***THIS MOD DOES NOT CONTAIN REAL RECRUITMENT OR REAL COMBAT***

    Known Bugs:
    - Minor text error: Pagan priests listed as Imams in the recruitment screen (***will not be fixed because I would have to change the culture which would mess up all the buildings and mess up even more text)

    Please notify if you find any bugs.

    Installation Instructions:
    Open the zip file and drag and drop the "mods" folder into your C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War directory.



    No pics yet. Contribute them if you have any.

    Known Compatibility Issues for SS 6.0 mods:
    ***Will not work with any mods that edit these files unless the mods are merged:
    descr_character
    descr_model_strat
    descr_sm_factions
    export_descr_buildings
    export_buildings
    campaign_descriptions
    expanded
    descr_strat

    Please notify of any other compatibility issues.



    NO MAP BORDERS:
    (note that you will have to change the name of the file to "descr_sm_factions" and place it in your C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\data folder after installing the Pagan Mongols Mod)

    what seems to be the problem with the Emerging Jeruslam mod?
    coz i havent been able to play yet, trying to get all these other mods to work with each other, and then modding all that to make it work on a 2 turn basis >.>

    Zuma it is not. Both mods edit the descr_sm_factions.txt file.

    Can i adjust your mod to my needs and throw it into my fix pack?
    It would come as an additional option.

    No, I haven't converted it and I don't think I will due to the lack of support. Someone else could convert it though.

    Maybe lack of verbal support... I have used this mod for a long time now and quite enjoy it, I just never bothered to respond in this thread


    Also glad to see you let Zuma use your mod, now I can keep on enjoying fighting those pagan mongols.

    could you change it so that the mongols on the campaign map speak with the mongol accent instead of the islamic one? it seems a bit weird with them shouting 'sultan' and 'allah', etc...

    Sadly, it's impossible unless I change their culture, and I don't want to lose their middle eastern buildings. Remember that they were never meant to be played and they were an emerging faction when CA made them.

    i noticed that when not playing the mongols but using this mod, they dont destroy the islam temples when they take over KE settlements, which keep boosting the islam reglion, lots of riots =/.
