Will the menu crash fix come out soon?

I'm sorry for sounding impatient, but this is ridiculous. I have loaded the game 4-5 times and each times it crashes because I tend to look at every factions starting position/units before I begin a campaign. Each time it has crashed, and I don't understand how the 6th version of the mod could be released with such a (for lack of a better word) stupid bug.

Wait a couple of seconds before switching to another faction.

Really, do you not think if it was an "easy" fix they would of done it?

Why don't you fix it, instead of complaining what others are doing for free and GIVING you.

99.9% of people live off the genius of the .1% and many of the 99.9% still complain.

You are the sutpid one to let your game crash so much. You should know it will crash if you look over the factions to fast...

And dont whine about a bug, just be happy that a whole team worked so damn hard to create this nice mod!

you are not the first with this complaint, if you look to others mods you will find the same complaint, its not that the team is not willing to fix it but as far as i understood so far (4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1) it is something that can't be fixed. The team is not to blame. It is a problem for most of the mods makers. Just take youre time to switch.

It can't be fixed. It happens when there is more than one campaign. I'm not sure why this is but this has been known for a long time now. Should have searched the forum and you would have found out that this can't be fixed.

Agreed that it only takes common sense to work around this bug, but let's not be too hard on the guy, some of the post here seem a tad too aggressive. The guy mentioned first and foremost that he doesnt mean any harm or wants to be a nuisance to anyone, instead like some people in this thread give the guy some answers or refer him to existing threads.

The fix for this bug has been available for some time. This is the fix.

Just click on the faction you want to play. Do not click on any other faction. Problem solved.

One of the reasons I like this forum is because of the friendly feeling of it, so could people please remember that if you want people to be patient with your questions, you should be patient with theirs.

The bug relates to the number of faction maps and the fact that you have both a late and early campaign. The only fix for it that anyone can figure is to strip out factions, which as you no doubt can figure is not going to happen.

Essentially CA did not properly build in expansion of the game.
