    Default Rebel trait

Wow that trait is hardcore. On like turn 23 of my HRE campaign ive had a good portion of my family get rebel/ you are not my king traits. Is there any way to prevent this? would killing my king off work?

Killing your King will work, or killing the ones with the trait.

Check your faction leader, I'll bet he has low authority. To improve his authority, have him fight and win alot of battles. Put the low loyalty generals in his army or else they will rebel. If you have low loyalty generals, send them on suicide missions and get them killed off. Do not have low loyalty generals command armys or be in cities, its best to have them alone in an army by themselves

I went and took another look and My king is actually 2 notches away from full authority. Interesting. I just inched my generals and the one crazy family member to a rebel land and had them slaughtered so im back on my way now . Ty for imput

Perhaps there is a large difference between dread and chivalry between the king and the rebelled generals?

Yea there was some difference. I had the settlements on low taxes to get some chivary, king had like 4 while the rebel leaders had like 4 dread. That could be it i guess
