Sicknesses?
My generals and family members always seem to get these as soon as they leave for more than a couple of turns.
Is there any way to cure the sicknesses? oOr avoid them in the first place?

"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

Re: Sicknesses?
You can barely avoid them, but I know that you if you're in a city you have less chance of getting a disease.
To take pneumonia out of the game, go to the export_character_traits in mods/ss6/data folder, search pneumonia (ctrl+F) and delete the trait entries that you want. You may want to delete the triggers too or the game might crash... sometimes.
