    Default log file, help?

I had a pretty good game going with Ireland and suddenly I started getting CTD's everytime I ended the round. So I was going to post the log file, but I cannot find it. I search \Sega directory for "log" or "system" and absolutely nothing comes up. This is using Vista Ultimate 32 bit. Can anyone tell me how I can find this file?

Its in the M2TW directory. The one you want is the system.log.txt file. At least it is under XP. NFI how whacky whacky Vista does things

That is strange. I'm using Windows Search for *.txt and for "system" and "log" and nothing is coming up under Segas directory. Weird.

What about if you look in the directory manually?

I've looked manually. that's the first thing I did. It wasn't until after I went over every sub directory 3-4 times that I decided to try windows search

    Medieval II folder
Look at the top of the window for a button that says "Compatibility Files"
    Press the button
    Open Logs folder
    Open System.log

Vista Puts all files generated by a user related to program use into the VirtualStore directory, excluding original program installations.

That did the trick. Thanks war927! I had no idea Vista did that. Learning new things about it all the time.
