trainer doesnt work \ crash

hi

I've installed medieval 2 and after that the kingdoms expension pack
I wanted to start playing the crusader campaign with the trainer from cheathappens, but when I go into game and press an option, it doesnt work.
some even cause the game to crash, rather then just not working

I play on crusader campaign version 1.4 and the trainer is adjusted to it (link to the trainer)

can anyone help me solve my prob?

edit:
oh and btw, I can hear the "options activated" voice when I press the button, but still nothing happens

But I've red the rules and I don't see what's wrong...
A trainer is not considerd as warez.
This trainer is being given free of charge from it's creator.

Well you could actually use the built ingame console for most of the things that the trainer offers....

My best advice would be though, do not cheat, the game is much more fun when you do it all yourself. It feels great.

Trainers are considered in the same class as cracks. They change the .exe illegally. Read the EULA about changing the hardcode.

I've already played the game way back without cheats, and then stopped playing it...and now I wanted to get back to it and have some fun with the cheats.
