To those who thought only Jews and Muslims fight over Jerusalem

Now i thought this was personally funny, priests fighting.
But there is a serious element, if these priests regularly fight each other and they are all Christian worship the same creed and on top of that are priests sworn to a life of peace and worship, who's really to blame the problems between Jews and Muslims over there?

can we do about this damn Jerusalem problem which has royally screwed and affected everybody in the world?

An atheist probs, besides like i said if he was biased towards one religion, the other two religions who hold exactly the same seats can veto him out.

an atheist would probably do something really really stupid like destroy all the religious sites.

well it would have to be representatives elected from both the PA and the IDF, and perhaps a UN moderator, with no ability to assign sectors or zoning ect, it would strictly be administrative, but then you would need a lawmaking body for the city, that could only be made up of the 2 parties, and the arabs would demand more seats and so would the jews etc.

well no matter how it gets solved I hope nobody thinks it will be easy.

Allow me to explain, its like this.

An Assembly of 100 Seats, 33 Muslim, 33 Christian, 33 Jewish, 1 Athiest. They elect by majority vote, with no veto a UN chosen and approved politician or administrator.
This administrator appoints a small cabinet and deputy.
The Citizens of Jerusalem will elect the 33 of their representatives depending up their religion, of which they have to sign up similar to the American one, as either Muslim, Jew or Christian. Druze counts as Muslim, Sabian counts as Christian. The Atheists, being a tiny number, will elect their one candidate inthe upper house.
For the lower chamber, anyone is eligible for the 100 seats, they will vote on non-religious legislation.
If the UN administrators accused of bias towards one religion or race, he can be impeached by a majority vote, and be replaced by another.
The administrator, or Governor general is considered Head of State and governs on the votes of the lower house on civil legislation and upper house on religious legislation.
The UN, Israel and Palestine will have mediator status to solve any big time disputes.
The army and security force will be EU or UN peacekeeping, but with full engagement rules.

Its humorous that a scuffle- in Jerusalem- is criticized when priests in America are raping children.

atheists dont deserve a seat in the holy city, that would insult all the faiths !

what if the citizens of jerusalem are a large majority jewish?-- then they should have a majority in the running of Jerusalem ( get ready to settle boys!)

Then they can vote jews into the Lower House, but if there is any massive bias the Christians and Muslims can vote against.

This is pretty routine. I remember seeing precisely the same story months ago.

The event that occurred...last year was misreported as Armenian and Greek priests getting in a brawl with brooms...when in actuality there was only one Greek priest, and things seemingly escalated after the police got involved.

Unless I'm mixing up the various nonsensicalness that goes on over there. I'll let y'all know how it is when I go there.
