King Kong announced in the release post:

    "Role Play Elements
    *
    - Completely reworked military and economical education, based on the inclination towards Military or Adminastrative skills, the quality of schools, libraries and universities and of course skills you show in battle.
    *
    - Different titles for greek, catholic and islamic culture for every settlement. The effects and descriptions are often based on historical backgrounds.
    *
    - Crowns for faction leaders that have conquered historical biggest empires
    *
    - Royal Bloodlines for all existing factions

    - Army attrition and supply system demands much more tactical decisions and religion is much more important. Watch and take care of your general and the moral and suply of his army!
    *
    - Most ancillaries are now transferable from one character to another
    *
    - Countless new Traits, Transferable Titles, Ancillaries "

I like the new RPG system introduced to the SS series. Unfortunately, we didn't get too much information on how to use these elements (how to polish your characters' personalities).
So I started this thread to help each other out on RPG questions.

My first question would be: has anyone yet received a crown? If so, please post screens of the faction leader.

Second question: how can i give a regional title to another character who is actually there, cuz the title-holder has to die for the title to be free again (which is really lame).

ok saw that in the readme, tell you what, when i get home i will take a look at my king again and see if he has a crown. But I would have thought he would get the crown as faction leader by going to the Capital and i thought i saw a crown for my norwegian king from start of the game. Currently at work so I will get back to this when I get home on 4 hours unless someone else can answer better. My thought of what KK said was maybe towards a a unique crown. I might have misread but right now i dont remember.

First off, no it is not a 'spin off' of the DLV system, although you can certainly say they led the way in this area.

Education: well I answered that in the education thread http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=160097

Crowns: Certain factions can obtain an extra ancillary if they conquer there historic territories eg France. I am not going to say which settlements you must control, because a) it should be obvious and b) it spoils the fun.

Titles: If a title is transfereable then just place the two characters together and drag the title from one to the other. Certain titles are not transferable eg London, as such a title was not stripped from someone lightly. Should you strip a character of all there titles they may of course get upset.

To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.

Yes it is not a spin of any mod, because it is part of the Total War genre and natural to Medieval 1Total War way before any DLV.
