How did Ierland win?
I was fighting Ierland as England in 6.0 earlyer today and they ran up on me with some of those javalin guys they have. I figured they would be cut down just the same as any other skermisher unit when my cav or heavy infantry took it to them. Much to my suprize they beat me handely. I am not sure how it hapend I took huscalars, sergent swordmen, sergent spearmen, my general, the fist level heavy cav and all of it was decimated or routed out right. I had fought to take a city befor that so my men was a little tierd but I don't think that alone would acount for it, unless moral has changed signifigantly sence the last generation of SS. Any ideas?

you sure they weren't galogashes? or whatever the elite swordsmen are. otherwise if your general died or they had low moral or were exhausted they would have fought worse. sounds buggy though. I killed them with militia spearmen as England.

My men could have been tierd, they were moving prity slow come to think of it. my general hadn't died yet, 2 of the Irish ones did though. They were throwing javilins at me so I don't think they were the sword guys, unless they have javilins too. Perhaps I will do a few custom battle tests to see if it was some factor I over looked.
