    Default Realistic cavalry charge .

    First of all,my congratulations for another amazing version of your mod.
    I know is to soon to tweak some files,but I miss the powerful Darths charge in this mod.The cavalry seems less realistic because they stop in front of the spears,so I tweak your desc_mount, give more "penetration" to the cavalry. Without any sexual intentions.

    Just replace those file in SS6 data.
    PS:Before you do it ,create a folder called Backup and place there a old one ,if you don't like,you change again.

    Urm... Horses DID stop charging when faced with a wall of spears.


    Its why we started using pike men again.

    It just have a visual effect,seems more realistic.

    Yeah that would be nice, the only problem I have with Darth is that a unit of not so great calvary can charge right through a unit of super elite infantry, I wish their was a way to make Knights plow right over peasants without plowing over Templars guard or Swiss pikemen.

    As I said, its mainly visual,when the cav charges against a elite infantry unit or heavy spear ,some knights enter into enemies formation ,but don't disband those unit.Seems more realistic,4 or 5 Knights in the middle of enemie formation,and generally die.

    You've increased the mass value, right? Doesn't this also slow down the horses?

    Maybe, but I have no idea.
    I think you have to change the animations files to do that.in DLV5.6 they do that,i personally don't like because,they spread to much the army,and cause confusion to command.

    Thanks for this, i always disliked the fact that cavalry charges would actually "smash" against non-pike\spear a formation and almost immediately stop instead of actually breaking through such a formation as it was intended, with the obvious risk of getting surrounded and massacred if not managed correctly. Because in the current situation you can almost always retreat your cavalry without losing a single one without any problem, plus it looks graphically incorrect as you mentioned

    I didn't notice any difference. I've tried darth's mod (ages ago) and i understand that feeling of charge. Is this tweak only suppose to work against pikemen? I tried it on infantry-- same feeling. I remember in darth's mod, when cavalry charged into infantry, they'd push nearly all the way through.

    This tweak have the same parameters of darths one,so try again in custom battles, but you play,the defender.

    Yes.But I think if you use the new cavalry animation in Stainless Steel Total Combat 1.2,you don't note any difference,but in a clean SS6.1,you do.
    This file makes the cavalry enter in enemies formation without a new animation spread.
