I guess you could say the 'original' is Ruina Romae and the other submods came together. But then again the 'original' from 363 ad is no longer available or just hidden somewhere.

Runia Romae starts in 410 with WRE reduces to Italy and North Africa and a Usurper in Gaul.

Rio's takes place in 432 (Hunnic campaign) and 463 AD and represents the crumbling Empire. Difficult to say the least.

IJ is currently a united Empire mod allowing the player to deal with the problems of managing the whole thing.

RESTITVTOR ORBIS is a work in progress and deals the time in the 3rd century and building up to the other mods.

Hi ZiegenPeter, welcome to our forums

The original mod(the Mama I call it) is the Runia Romae..as described by Lord Agelmar. Ramon Gonzales y Garcia is our leader of the mod, Runia Romae and also of this forum. This is the mod that has graciously allowed the Julian and the Rio mods to use its features and ideas in any way shape or form. They do differ in many ways from each other. The Rio Mod uses Ice Torques BiI WarMap(which is a mod...that is I think as large as any map out their still. The Julian mod by julianus heraclius has added many is changes that also differs from the Runia Romae mod giving it a very distinct feeling and a fine representation of the time period.

I would suggest reading up on them to get a feel to which one fits your own tastes. The creators here and many of the forum regulars are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and could help with any questions you might have.

The best part about it is that you can have all of them installed at the same time and try them out.

Thanks a lot! Could you maybe please give in a few words an idea of the focus of each mod?
    Would be great!
    Cheers
