...well I mean, if you go by' Bush' logic and how the war has been waged "on Terror".

He said, "anyone who supports the terrorists are no better and should be dealt the same way as the terrorists themselves".

Recently the Iran Revolutionary Guard was labeled as a "terrorist organization", by the Us Government.

So coming from that, Anyone who supports the Iran-Revolutionary Guard is no better than them the "terrorists".

So, UK should be attacked, preferably with a pre-emptive strike by the USA, because they got salesmen there, selling weapons, and even "nucular" stuff.

The UK harbors terrorists, thus it's no better then....let's say.. Afghanistan.

British customs officers have recently identified a number of British arms dealers trading with Tehran, The Guardian newspaper reported Sunday.

According to the report, the investigation has triggered alarm among government officials who fear Iran's nuclear program may be receiving significant support from UK sources.

The customs officers suspect that at least seven Britons have been defying sanctions by supplying the Iranian air force, its elite Revolutionary Guard Corps, and even the country's controversial nuclear ambitions.

Officials told The Guardian they are concerned by the number of British dealers who appear to be trading with Tehran, despite a third round of restrictions being recently imposed by the United Nations on exporting arms and components to Iran.

Among the examples uncovered, the report said, is the case of a UK businessman caught smuggling components for use in guided missiles through a front company that proved to be the Iranian Ministry of Defense. The man, London businessman Mehrdad Salashoor, was jailed for 18 months.

Another case involves a group that included several Britons which, investigators alleged, attempted to export components intended to enhance the performance of Iranian aircraft.

Another Briton, John Knight, one of Britain's most experienced arms dealers, was caught trading machine-guns used by the SAS and capable of firing 800 rounds a minute with a Tehran-based weapons supplier. He has also been jailed for four years.

At least two other UK nationals are also being investigated over claims they are working, or have worked with, Iran to import components for the country's alleged nuclear weapons

According to The Guardian, these individuals are understood to have long-standing links to nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistan's 'father of the bomb', who has admitted helping North Korea, Iran and Libya to develop nuclear weapons.

I read about this in the guardian. Most/all of the people who sold them weapons are in jail.

Not supported by the government are they ? It appears as they investigate and find these people they are being convicted and jailed, so what's the problem. Just another one of those threads, I suppose. So they're not (UK) harbouring terrorists, or even men suspected of illigal armsales. Rather a misleading title then.

I'm pretty there was an Austrian company who sold them 50. cal sniper rifles, I think most people in the arms trade don't care about who they're selling to, and as long as Iran is looking to buy guns, people will be willing to sell them.

Yes, but first, there has to be a Grand-Noble-Democratic-Freedomloving-Coalition-of-the-Willing-to-die-for-someone-else's-goals. Preferably including such leading military powers as Denmark and Poland.

If the UK is a terrorist state wouldn't that make the US a terrorist state because it is allied with one? And if you want to continue on the rational road, wouldn't that make all of the allies of the US and all of their allies terrorists? Perhaps logic is the wrong approach or maybe the US president is just an idiot.
