ok i dont know why but when i was haveing a battle for rome i had capulets and when i fired it landed right onto a large group of men on the wall. When it hit all of them died except for one man in the middle who was the one right below the rock!

And it was on FIRE yet he lived and without any damage!?!?


Someone plz reaspond to what could have caused this.

Possibly just a glitch. One man surviving a catapult blast eh? He must be a beast!

But sometimes they do just get knocked over, and stand back up. If it is bothering you that much you could simply reinstall the agme, but that might be a little extreme if you are worried about not killing one man.

Yeah, also if you make a closeup on elephants running, their feet don't seem to touch the ground.

I am always irked by the fact that when I order my legionaries to throw their spears, I don't mean 50 or 60 of you throw your spears, I WANT ALL 80 OF YOUR SPEARS IN THE AIR NOW!!!! But no matter what I do, the brave men of the Arminium legions seem to decide when they want to throw their spears all by themselves. (yes, fire at will is off, yes I leftclicked the enemy unit expecting them to launch their pila)

Of course not in unison, what I mean is 30 or so of them aren't even throwing their spears at all...

Having one of your own units surviving a catapult blasts would be sweet. another "hero" added to your retinue.

Ehhh..Just be lucky u too out almost the whole unit in one rock Im sure killing that one remaining dude wasnt that hard. For a reason why..uhhh It's a game, it's got problems o_o.

i dont use catapaults very much because, as u said, they often kill more of u than of the enemy - they suck. This is a common problem - at least 4 me - so i just dont use em (i wonder if their aim can be improved w/ experience?). Anyway, if u use catapaults, use em on walls, and dont fire when ur guys are close 2 the wall. Hope this helps
