    Default How do I disable the supply script in 6.0?

    Does anyone know how to disable the script? I want to remove it before I start a new campaign. I like the mod but I hate that script.

    I was just going to ask the same thing, you can probably do it the same way as in the old version , search the forum for "supply trait".

    Edit: Can't seem to find the topic I used before though, can anyone just.. like, tell us?

    Edit: Also, didn't KK say he was to release a "fix" without the supply trait?

    go to your medieval 2 folder ->mods->stainless steel 6->data

    find export_character_traits.txt (or something)

    make a backup of it

    open it in notepad

    press ctrl+f

    search for the word "byg"

    you will find a section, you can either delete just the supply trait or all of it (until where it says something about kingdoms triggers), which I did... I would delete all of it because I think some of the traits are linked to it (anti-traits and stuff) plus I just didn't like the traits...

    i think that should work just put it into your data folder and it should overide the old data file, hope it works

    when someone is able to post a no supply traits please do!
    I dont know what to take out withot messing up other traits.

    here's my no supply traits file. Basically just deleted the byg section.

    which one do I use? Bacon yours is 823.9kb and usefriendly yours is 842.8kb which means Bacon deleted more. :/ I think

    userfriendly deleted the byg section (not just supply) which is what I suggested. I think what you're looking for is what the second guy posted.

    Methinks he deleted some other triggers.. I merely deleted the data block under "Byg's reality and supply traits" until the kingdoms traits line, as instructed by s0meguy.

    traits like bent on glory, first second third etc major victory new monument etc, some other things that apparently count turns away from settlements, time in field, etc.


    edit: I looked at bacon's file and he kept the first second third ... major victories traits, etc. not sure why the file size is smaller though

    Worth keeping you think? I.E. the bent on glory, time in field traits, etc...

    I looked at the old no supply traits for 5.1 and it basically just removed Byg's traits altogether.

    I'm not sure how the retention of major victories traits would work in bacon's file without "Trigger Major_Victories_Count" (this was deleted in Bacon's file)

    btw, bent on glory, etc were not kept in Bacon's file. Only the major victories and monuments traits.. apparently.

    userfri3ndly...I got a CTD 3 different times using your triats file. I than put back in the old one and it worked fine. So I'm going to see if bacons does the same...

    pls update me if bacon's does ok, since after all my attempt was just following s0meguy's instructions.


    (btw, i believe changes to the file aren't save-game compatible...)

    It was a new game, I havent started one yet, just looking at different factions. Also bacons works fine.

    So beacons works fine...and it only deletes the supply train traits right?

    it deletes a few other things as well (all BYG's) but it does work. Well at least it works with my game. It's prob. not save compatiable.
