Wrong Disc Inserted (MED2GOLD)?

It says that I have the wrong disk inserted and that I need to insert MED2GOLD, I have regular Medieval and the expansion, neither work. Whats up?

I accidently did this you have downloaded the wrong patch for kingdoms the gold patch its the wrong one go back to totalwar.com and get the correct ones the good news is you don't need to remove the old one just simply overwrite.

I have the same problem (I accidently installed the US patch instead of the EU one)... I re-installed the whole game and downloaded the correct EU patch and for some reason it still gives the messege "wrong disc inserted. Please insert the original kingdoms CD/DVD" every time I try to start any of the "Kingdom" expansions...
Whan to do, I at the end of my tether... (this is a birthday gift - and at this point this birthday weekend is not very fun...)
