show_err does not work

i am playing RTR and i added some roman imperial units and an archer to the roman faction. when i go to do custom battles though, it bring me back to the previous menu. in the past, i've exited the program and an error message came up, but it isnt working now. its really getting me mad, any ideas why it isnt working?

Not all errors generat a message. You might be in one such situation. If we exclude it you`ve either not typed the command correctly(check to see if there`s a space in front of it maybe) or you`re not starting the game via the correctly edited shortcut.
Generally a kick back to the menu means you`ve made modifications to the campaign map. Like in descr_strat for example and made mistakes. Another thing to know is that if you modify the descr_strat you should delete the map.rwm files before starting the game so that it regenerates based on the changes done. If you don`t do it you can get CTDs. Maybe KTM too.
