Favorate TV show themes

Tihis thread is where you state waht tyour favorate theme for TV shows are.

Mine is a tie between the Lonely Man theme of the Incredible Hulk and Angel.

I like the incredible HUlk because it just really sounds great
I liked Angel because it combined contemporary and Classical Instruments for the song

Seinfeld...


But seriously, I love the theme to House for some reason. Dont know, its just soothing...

Do you mean the opening music or something else - the ending theme, 'tension' theme or something ?


I really enjoy music in Dexter along with a number of other shows ( BSG, X-Files etc), but to be honest the starting piece seems the worst in the whole soundtrack. At least from my point of view.

I meant the intro video at the start of each episode, how it focuses on some everyday motions (like extracting juice from an orange), but its alluding to different methods of killing.

I didn't really care for the music though.

Just remembered mroe themes that I like:
MASH and The Sopranos.

Two Dutch shows that I doubt any of you will know..
Medisch Centrum West (A hospital drama from the eighties with a very recognizable theme)

Baantjer (A very long running show about an old policeman in Amsterdam. Unfortunately I couldn't find the intro itself, so you'll just have to do with the music..)

but the best ever, although the show was poor, was The Persuaders.

Fresh Prince, the Simpsons is a classic and therefore has to be up there, Futurama, Family Guy's theme tune annoys me, the Big Bang Theory has a catchy tune. Friends is also a classic, and Scrubs.

I'll second the A-Team and Malcolm in the Middle.
I'm also rather fond of the closing theme to Frasier ("Oh baby I hear the blues a-calling, tossed salad and scrambled eggs, yeah!")

The 'Allo 'Allo theme's just nice.
