BC has given me the best TotalWar experience EVER

ok... been lurking these forums for years (since MTW) to be precise, and the TW series has always been one of my best gaming experiences. I don´t like making a new thread with my first post, but since I needed to thank you guys, it had to be done.

a big THANK YOU for your effort and time to produce something of such quaility for free.

The music, the map, the units, the balance... simply amazing. There are still some minor details that need to be fixed, e.g. Makurian general´s unit desciption or Georgian unit descriptions not properly translated. But they are minor and don´t really bother me.

Your mod really transports you into that era with fitting music for the appropiate regions, beautiful units with obviously tons of time and effort put into them.

I do admit however, that I always edit faction and units to make it more interesting, because as soon as you have carved out an empire with 15-20 regions, the whole game becomes a walkover. I will usually give the strongest opposing factions a financial headstart, usually around 200k and give all their specific units 2hp instead of 1. my games are usually littered with heroic victories because of that, but since the AI is simply too silly at times, it is not such a great feat.

Yeah this mod is probably the best there is with SS,only problem is the sometime restrictive AOR and that there are only 17 factions,but since new factions are going to be added eventually (the very intriguing Kara Khitai

) its fine

Best units and best map of any M2TW mod, hands down.

My biggest wishes -- an AOR system, and extending the map further west to give Byzantium a challenge...

I agree with all the comments too. Great game great feeling very orginal and fascinating BC Total war.

I got a ideal buy the game engine off Sega/CA and start your own business/corporation.:hmmm:

I think the restrictive AOR is a good thing, at least with some basic units to recruit for garrison duty. It makes the game harder, but i think the AI should be able to recruit normal, otherwise no gain.
