I been searching the forum but i dont understand what i am meant to download to get this mod can someone give me the links please.

What version is your game? If you have RTW v1.5 or RTW Gold Edition you should try RTR Platinum Edition. Here`s a guide on how to install it if you need details(it also has the links):

i got patch 1.5 thakns there were just a lot of links to different things
When i try to do a capaign or a custom battle i just crash to the desktop no errore message any idea why?

Try uninstalling then reinstalling Rome, then reinstall the mod.

I presume you have not deleted the map.rwm files. Either do it manually as the guide says or run the batch file. It`s covered in that tutorial.

You don`t seem to have a good idea on how things go so why send the poor guy to do a full reinstall when it might not be needed?

You can find the map.rwm file in:

Rome - Total War/Data/World/maps/base/map.rwm

You don't need to make a back-up as the game generates one when you start a campaign.

With the information provided by the OP offering that advice was a bit premature. If you want to help other people play this mod try and illicit more information first.

@phowa - are you using vista by any chance? I know that operating system installs things in different places that Windows XP.

I presume you did add the -show_err switch to the shortcut target. If the error is trapped by the program (missing file) it can output a message as part of a CTD.

I know I'm asking the obvious, but are the mod and game in the same directory? I've read of similar problems with that cause.
