Creating/editing sheilds

Hi there, i was wondering if i could get some help with editing the sheilds in RTW BI, i've benn looking around and haven't been able to find any help on it. but if there is already a tutorial or something on i could you please point me in the right direction?

This is a basic Photo shop tutorial, I didn't cover shields specifically but the process is the same as skinning anything else.

The main problem with shields is that most are quartered/halved which prevents you from doing anything non symmetrical, you can't get around that unless you have 3dMax I'm afraid.
