Conflicting Programs

Hey all;

My problem as you mightve guessed is conflicting programs; Kingdoms: Tuetonic Camp. and Ventrillo. I tried ventrillo with Britannia and it [ventrillo] seemed fine. Tuet Camp. on the other hand caused it to crash a minute or so after i re-launched ventrillo.

Any possible solutions? I figure that conflicting programs might be hard to resolve.

Are you trying to talk online and play at the same time? I would say your guess is probably right although I haven't tested it. My advise would be disable Ventrillo and if you can play Kingdoms, you're okay. Just one or the other.

Well, disabling Ventrillo is the most obvious option; yes.

But I really wanted to talk to my friends aswell. So its a win/lose situation.

Also, the problem is a little deeper than that. The crashing only occurs when I play the Teutonic Campaign. Anyone else know anything?

Did you install the 1.5 patch?

Actually no I havent; I've been capped since it came out.

You could untick DirectSound and "Use Direct Input to detect key" in Vent setup.

Unfortunately thats my default so... thats what i've had all along.
